Strikes are costly to employers ,employees and the public… for employees here are a couple things to take into consideration before striking.  Assume you earn $15 per hour sand are about to strike for a .50$ per hour increase…how long before you recoup what wages are lost … assume a one day strike… you would lose $120  and it would take 6 weeks to recoup…if the strike lasted  1 week your loss would be $600 and it would take 30 weeks to recoup…if the strike lasted 1 month your loss would be $2400 and it would take 2 years and 16 weeks to recoup  and if the strike lasted 1 year your loss would be $31200 and it would take 30 years to recoup.!!!!!!.looking at history not all strikes end quickly in Stockton Ca walnut workers went and strike and that strike against Diamond California lasted 13 YEARS >>>>>>short message … think twice before striking
